His View

Last week I brought my camera along to the hospital with us for Jacob's 4 day round of chemo.
I let him take photos of whatever he wanted (the picture above shows him in the toy room).
These are all from Jacob's viewpoint.

  4. What a great idea!! I used to study at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke (in Durham, NC) and through that I have learned about an amazing photographer named Wendy Ewald who has done a LOT of work with kids who have gone through struggles, using photography to empower them to tell their own stories. Just do a google image search and you will see some of the work kids have done with cameras through her projects. I think this is such a wonderful way to give Jacob some control over sharing his perspective (or just having some fun)!

    May Jacob continue to feel God's presence beside him as he walks through this trial.

  5. Aaawww, he's so cute Beth! Looks good and who doesn't love to take a close up of themselves! Glad to see that he looks well and seems to be doing well too! Hope you have a great weekend!
